Why not treat your Mum to a special day out at Drumlanrig Castle and Country Estate, topping it off with a delicious meal in the Tearoom from a menu created just for her.
Chef Paul Clark has put together a delicious choice of mouthwatering dishes with Mum in mind on her special day. Give the Mum in your life a wonderful treat she won't forget in a hurry - she deserves it - as part of your visit to Drumlanrig. Two courses or three with plenty of choice.

Starters

Homemade chicken liver parfait, served with red onion chutney and Scottish oatcakes.

Prawn cocktail - our own version of the classic dish, served with malted bread.

Cream of wild mushroom and courgette soup, served with warm crusty bread.
Main Courses

Roast leg of Ayrshire pork, served with crackling and Charlotte potatoes with seasonal vegetables and finished with an apple and shallot sauce.

Pan seared fillet of Scottish Salmon, served on a bed of wilted spinach, chive crushed potatoes and finished with a lemon and dill cream.

Whipped goats' cheese and caramelised beetroot, served with a side of Charlotte potatoes.
Desserts

Homemade Bramley apple and berry crumble with vanilla ice-cream or crème anglaise.

Poached pears, served with pistachio ice-cream and chocolate sauce.

Hot chocolate fudge cake with vanilla ice-cream
