If you are feeling peckish during your day out, why not visit the Castle Tearoom to sample our exciting new menu featuring delicious traditional Scottish dishes served with a twist. Enough to tempt even the most discerning of palates!
The Tearoom was once the original kitchen of the Castle with its traditional flagstone floor. Visitors can now relax there with a coffee and cake or enjoy a bite of lunch amidst a display of gleaming antique copper kitchenware.
And to make your visit to Drumlanrig extra special, why not enjoy a delicious Afternoon Tea at the conclusion of your Castle tour. A joint ticket is available.
Stables Cafe
Stables Cafe is the perfect place to re-energise after an active day at Drumlanrig.
We are delighted to launch our new, tasty menu, serving traditional breakfast treats from 10 am until mid-day and lunch from mid-day until 4.30 pm, Monday through to Sunday during the summer season.
Our menu consists of seasonal and local produce along with a range of sandwiches, toasties, paninis and soup of the day. A selection of delicious home-baking is also on offer, something to tempt every palate.

Group Bookings
If you are visiting the Castle as part of a group or coach tour, then the Old Stables will be offered as the ideal place for lunch. This is a cosy meeting place available to groups wishing to have a private space in which to enjoy lunch or refreshments. Seasonal, local and where possible, home-grown, the produce we use in our kitchens at Drumlanrig are the freshest available.
