Landrover Tours

The Drumlanrig Landrover Experience is the only way to experience the best of South Scotland in a day. An area unrivalled in the richness and diversity of its natural history, landscapes and rugged beauty.

As you journey from the delightful River Nith to the rugged beauty of the high tops of the Lowther Hills, the Buccleuch Ranger Services team will educate and stimulate your senses as you get up close and personal with wild landscapes, diverse natural history and a wide variety of specimen trees and wildlife.

SCHEDULED TOURS

Discover Drumlanrig 1½ hour Tour £15.00 per adult £10.00 per child (under 16).

Tours start at 1 pm each day from the Rangers' Office and can be booked at the Gift Shop, Cycle Museum or Contact Us.

EXCLUSIVE TOURS

Queensberry Experience 2½ hour Tour £150.00
Valley Low, Mountain High 5 hour Tour £300.00

RANGER GUIDES

With many years experience working in the area, The Buccleuch Ranger Service has a vast knowledge of the lanscape, natural history and land management. Whatever your interest - be it wildlife, history or photography - our Rangers will reveal the landscape's hidden secrets.

Our Land Rover Safari vehicles have excellent all round vision and the ability to go anywhere.

Maximum of 6 guests per tour
Binoculars and a telescope are provided
Parent or legal guardian must accompany anyone under the age of 18
Parents/guardians are responsible for providing car seats to comply with current legislation
Bring your own camera, essential to capture the spectacular views
A picnic hamper can be provided at an additional cost but you are welcome to bring your own.

All tours start and finish at Drumlanrig Castle but local pick up can be arranged.
