This charming cottage is situated only 150 yards from one of the most attractive stretches of the River Esk and 2 miles from the pretty village of Canonbie.
It is south facing with an open outlook across fields and beside a typical Peel Tower, a reminder of the turbulent history of the Borders. The cottage was a former ghillie’s cottage, and the area provides excellent fishing. Outdoor sports of all kinds are well catered for, being good walking or riding country. The cottage is easily reached, only 15 minutes drive from Carlisle and the M6. Shops and pubs 2 miles.
