Drumlanrig to Host Galloway Country Fair
Drumlanrig Castle and Country Estate today announced plans to host the renowned Galloway Country Fair on its 10th anniversary next year.
Drumlanrig Castle and Country Estate today announced plans to host the renowned Galloway Country Fair on its 10th anniversary next year.
The event will be held in Drumlanrig for the first time on August 20th and 21st.
Galloway Country Fair is a traditional Scottish country fair offering a family day out in a magnificent rural setting.
Mark Coombs, Queensberry Estate Manager, said: “We are in advanced discussions with the organisers of the fair with a view to hosting the tenth anniversary of this great event next August.
“It is a tremendous family day out and is renowned throughout the South West of Scotland. In addition, visitors will also be able to enjoy the wide range of facilities that the castle and country estate have to offer.”
Jane Sargeant, organiser of the fair, said: “The fair needed a bigger venue and Drumlanrig will be a perfect setting. We look forward to finalising the details and a full programme will be announced in due course.”
