With its sparkling selection of over 30 stalls from artisan food and drink producers to a selection of arts and crafts, traditional Christmas entertainment and a a special visit from Santa Claus himself, browsers enjoyed an enchanting, festive atmosphere while spoiled for choice.
Scarves from Langholm, Ormolu from Moffat, Treasured Earth bespoke jewellry from Gretna and Jude's handmade designer Jewels from Stirling all gave inspiration for that special Christmas gift, as well as the usual and not-so-usual foodie stalls offering excellent festive treats.
Mary the Faerie thrilled everone with her fairy dust and Christmas chatter while Jason the Juggling Jester, always a Drumlanrig favourite, enthralled the kids with his wonderful balloon sculptures. Festive music was provided by the St Ninian Handbell Ringers, Wallace Hall Carol Singers and Chris Hardie on his sax playing traditional Christmas favourites with a jazz twist. And of course lucky children were able to tell Santa in person in his very own grotto exactly what they would like for Christmas.
A great day all round with excellent magical Christmas cheer.
