Nell Nelson to appear at Drumlanrig Food Festival

Sample, savour and celebrate the best of local food and music.  Bringing together the unbeatable combination of live performances, local produce stalls, cookery demonstrations and BBQs, the Festival of Food and Music promises to be a memorable day out.

Among other items on offer, there will be:

Saturday 11 September

Cookery Demonstrations with Drumlanrig's own Chef, Paul Clark, and Cookery Writer, Presenter and Nutritional Consultant, Nell Nelson.  Nell was "The Woman who Ate Scotland".

  3.30   Cupcakes Demonstration from Cupcake Mania (Sarah Macfarlane)

Cream o' Galloway will be providing tasting sessions and Nel will be selling signed copies of her book.

The Music Bus will be on site in the afternoon.

Sunday 12th September

12.30   Scottish Forgotten Apples (Waulkmill Cider Orchard Co.)
  1.30   Chicken & Chutneys (supplied by St Brides Free Range Poultry and Alison's Jams and Chutneys) (Colin Bussey)
  2.30   Buccleuch Meats (Colin Bussey)

There will be a variety of food stalls on both days and musical performances (TBC) in the grounds.

Cost  Country Estate Admission charges apply (Adult £5.00, Child £3.50).  (Adult concessions may be available).
There will be an additional charge for some of the events.
