Pre-Concert Menu
Chef Paul Clark is offering a delicious pre-concert 2-course menu to add to your evening's enjoyment. Meals will served in the Castle Tearoom prior to Emily's concert between 5 pm and 6.30 pm.
There will be an interval during the concert during which time drinks will be served in the Tearoom. Please note no drinks will be admitted to the Castle Dining Room.
Make your choice from the following:
Main Courses:
- Traditional Buccleuch beef steak pie, topped with a puff pastry topping, served with creamed potatoes or fries and market vegetables.
- West Coast fillet of haddock, served with chunky fries and crisp salad leaves.
- Supreme of chicken, stuffed with locally sourced haggis, with creamed potatoes and seasonal vegetables, and finished with an aged whisky cream.
- Autumn vegetable pie, parsnips, aubergine, and red onion, cocked in a light tomato cream, with fresh tarragon, served with creamed potatoes.
Desserts
- Hot Alabama chocolate fudge, served with vanilla ice cream or double cream.
- Chef's butterscotch cheese cake, with vanilla ice cream or cream.
- Ice cream coupe, strawberry, chocolate, and vanilla ice cream with fruit garnish.
