The Adventure Playground

Situated in wooded parkland adjacent to Drumlanrig Castle Gardens, the adventure playground provides an ideal opportunity for children to burn off some energy.

New for 2010, test your skills on the traversing wall!

Consisting of aerial runways, slides, rope bridges and climbing frames the adventure playground will provide hours of outdoor fun for children of all ages (young and old!). Younger children can re-enact swash-bucking battles at a mock castle evoking legendary stories of Bonnie Prince Charlie, The Black Douglas and King Robert the Bruce, all of whom have connections with Drumlanrig.

Set against the dramatic backdrop of Drumlanrig Castle, the adventure playground is surrounded by benches where families can enjoy a picnic or alternatively where adults can sit back and relax whilst the children play.
