Douglas the Detective is your family's guide who will take you and your young people around the Castle and grounds looking at the subjects which appeal to children ... blood, guts and bogs!
Douglas will be appearing for the first time on Saturday 19 May 2012, with his deerstalker hat and time-travelling kit to discover Drumlanrig through the ages.
It is hoped to continue throughout the Summer. Check with Events to see when Douglas will next be appearing.
Book your place on arrival at Visitor Reception and check times there so as not to be disappointed.
Schools and Groups should book in advance.
Cost Admission charges for entry to the Castle apply (see Useful Information for details).
This includes entry to the Country Estate, Gardens and Adventure Playground.
