Drumlanrig Castle and Country Estate is pleased to welcome to its parkland Tough Mudder, a true test of toughness, fitness, strength, stamina and mental grit all in one place and all in one day. Drumlanrig is the only Scottish Tough Mudder venue, out of only 3 in the UK, and will be a truly exceptional event for truly exceptional people.
Unfortunately, we are unable to offer camping facilities for this event.

The Tough Mudder philosohy tests your all-around mettle, not just your ability to run in a straight line, on your own, for hours on end. It is about experiencing a true sense of camaraderie, requiring the help of others to get over some of the obstacles – they are simply too much for one person to tackle alone. Tough Mudders are team players who help out other Tough Mudders, making sure no man is left behind.
Tough Mudder is a proud supporter of Help for Heroes. To help its cause and to support the needs of severely injured service men and women, Tough Mudder is offering a special discount to participants who see Tough Mudder as an opportunity to raise funds for Help for Heroes. Any Tough Mudder who raises £120 or more for Help for Heroes gets a £20 refund.
If you’ve always wanted to run through 10,000 volts of electricity, make their way through fire, or jump off a 15 ft plank into freezing cold water, but haven't the nerve, then here’s your chance to watch others prove their mettle - spectators are most welcome!
