Autumn Forage at Drumlanrig

Meet 10.45 am for 11 am start in the Stableyard
Picnic 1 pm
(Bring your own), Demonstration 1.30 pm

Local Foraging and Wild Food Tutor, Mark Williams, is inviting all budding foragers to join him in a foray around the parklands, river and woodlands surrounding Drumlanrig Castle.

A cooking demonstration and tasters will follow in the Stableyard using the gathered ingredients and wild food from the hills, hedgerows and River Nith.

Are you brave enough to play ‘To Eat, or Not To Eat?’!!!

  • Shelter Building – work together to build a strong, warm shelter from natural materials

Drumlanrig Castle Stableyard at 10.45 am - Activities Start at 11 am - Picnic lunch at 1 pm - Cooking and Eating Demo at 1.30 pm. 

Bring  Wellies and Waterproofs

Please bring your own picnic (tea, coffee and squash provided) – In addition, soup, cakes and light refreshments will be available to purchase in the Stableyard Snack Bar.

Cost  Participation Fee - Adults £15, Child £5 (tea, coffee and squash provded.
